1. Inside Asano grocery store on Myrtle Ave - c. 1930s

   Sakae Mary Asano (1904-1991) with sons, Tosh and Warren "Babe", and unknown boy. This is probably the first Asano store at 526 S. Myrtle. Sakae and Takumi Asano were successful small-business owners. Their two sons were both born at Monrovia Hospital and lived most of their lives in Monrovia. The family lived in a Quonset behind this store.
