    No signature. Note there is no address. "Hello Gruh, I am going out dove shooting tonight. We get the limit here with ease. I sent the old pump gun and 4 boxes of 7 1/2 out to a rube yesterday. I got a raise in the hardware store already and was told I could stay as long as I like." Postmarked Merced, CA. Comically addressed to "Mr. Geo. Baker, Asst. P.M. (assists the P.M. by sweeping the place), Monrovia, Cal." He was the Assistant Postmaster.
