    The home was built by Herman Greef Brownfield in about 1908 after he moved from Iowa. He was a physician and druggist. It was apparently torn down about 1945. His grand-daughter was Cynthia Crandall Weckler, who made these drawings of the floorplan and neighborhood. Herman Greef Brownfield died at his E. Lime home September 21, 1947.     The home was built by Herman Greef Brownfield in about 1908 after he moved from Iowa. He was a physician and druggist. His grand-daughter was Cynthia Crandall Weckler. Herman Greef Brownfield died at his E. Lime home September 21, 1947. At some point afterwards the property was sold, structures torn down and plot started as a parking lot for the Monrovia Police Department.
