    Julius Parker (1924-2018) was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, Julius came to Monrovia in 1933 - right before the Long Beach earthquake that compromised the foundation of segregated Huntington Elementary. Julius was one of the first African American children to integrate Santa Fe Elementary.
